What Your Day Looks Like

Day 1 – Kickoff & First Adventure Dives
Your Advanced course begins at the dive centre in the morning, where you’ll meet your instructor for a quick briefing and review of your eLearning. Once your Adventure Dives are chosen and planned, you’ll gear up and head to the speedboat for a fast ride out into Komodo National Park.
You’ll complete your first two Adventure Dives during the morning and midday — usually Navigation and one elective — practising new skills while exploring different types of sites around the park.
Between dives you’ll relax on deck with fresh fruit, snacks, great views, and plenty of time to go over your performance with your instructor.
After Dive 2, your lunch is served on board before heading out for Dive 3, a fun dive or another elective depending on your schedule and energy levels.
You’ll return to Labuan Bajo in the early afternoon with the option to chill… or gear up later for a night dive if you’ve added it to your course.

Day 2 – Deep Diving & Final Adventure Dives
Your second day begins much the same — fast boat, stunning scenery, and quick access to pristine sites. The highlight of Day 2 is the Deep Adventure Dive, where you’ll head down to a maximum of 30 metres in one of Komodo’s iconic deeper sites.
The rest of the day is spent completing your remaining Adventure Dives (usually 1–2), rounding out the skills and experiences required for the course.
As always, you’ll enjoy three dives on the boat, with lunch served after the second dive, and plenty of time between dives to rest, ask questions, and soak in the views.
If you’ve chosen a Night Dive, this is a popular evening to do it — exploring Komodo after dark and seeing the reef completely transform.
