Our liveaboard, IKAN BIRU is perfect if the idea of “dive, eat, sleep, repeat” appeals to you.

Its unique hop-on, hop-off concept allows you to join other divers as you explore the park for any amount of time between three and twelve days. Each full day on Ikan Biru sees at least 3 dives, often more. Make new friends as you log some serious time underwater, sleep under the stars, and see Komodo’s best.

World Class Dive Sites At Your Fins

Komodo’s reputation is well-earned. Home to over a 3000 species of bony fish and hundreds of coral varieties, the park delivers everything from gentle drift dives to heart-pounding encounters with pelagic giants. Our experienced guides tailor itineraries to suit every level, ensuring both safety and excitement.

We have four speed boats, TOBY, CHARLIE, SIMON and HUGO, all equipped with modern marine safety equipment and extremely experienced crew in accordance with marine tourism guidelines. Our speedboats are spacious and well-equipped, and the crew’s attention to detail ensures you feel comfortable, whether you’re a first-timer in a drift or a seasoned diver chasing your next big thrill. With our speedboats, we can even hit the dive sites in the North and return to Labuan Bajo by mid-afternoon.

Every dive feels like a new adventure. One moment, you’re drifting along a wall festooned with soft corals, the next you’re peering into a crevice, at a hidden pygmy seahorse. The sheer diversity is dizzying.

The Liveaboard Experience

There’s something magical about waking up to an endless horizon, the scent of salt in the air, and the promise of untouched dive sites waiting just below the surface. Early morning and sunset dives often reveal Komodo’s shyer residents - reef sharks, eagle rays, and hunting trevallies - as well as the kaleidoscopic macro life tucked among the corals.

Our liveaboard, IKAN BIRU, is ideal for those who seek an immersive “dive, eat, sleep, repeat” experience. On each cruise, treks are planned in the Komodo Island to observe the dragons, joining a ranger-led trek to spot the legendary Komodo dragons - prehistoric, hulking, and surprisingly fast on their feet.

Between dives, you might find yourself lounging on a sun deck, reading, editing underwater photos, or simply gazing at volcanic islands drifting by.

Evenings bring their own magic. As the sun sinks behind the islands, the sky erupts in hues of orange and purple. The day’s salt and sun linger on your skin as you swap stories on deck, the gentle lap of the waves your soundtrack.
